Lutheran Braille Workers
It is under the auspices of Lutheran Braille Workers (LBW) that Redeemer began and continues to operate the Blind Lincoln Outreach Center (BLOC) each month. LBW is another entity we have chosen to support financially over the years. Unbeknownst to most people, the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod operates more deaf and blind ministry outposts and congregations than any other church body in the United States. In fact, the largest Christian braille library in the country is the Lutheran Library for the Blind. Lutheran Braille Workers has enjoyed a long and storied history of mission to those who are blind and visually impaired across the country. If you would like to know more about this important organization that shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ with so many in our country or how you might support it on your own, visit Lutheran Braille Workers.
