COVID-19 Hold Harmless Agreement

Due to the 2019-2020 outbreak of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), Redeemer Lutheran Church is taking extra precautions with the care of every member to include health history review and enhanced sanitation/disinfecting procedures in compliance with CDC guidance. With the start of Sunday School planned for September 13, 2020, we want to recognize that being honest with any recent symptoms in the last 14 days, positive COVID testing, and/or pending or to-be-scheduled tests for COVID are in the works will be communicated with the Director of Communication (DCE Rod Lane) or the Sunday School Superintendent (Jill Walrod) Chairperson of Redeemers Board for Education (Amy Schmidt). Redeemer is committed to following the precautions given by the CDC, Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, and the Lincoln/Lancaster County Health Department, each situation will be reviewed thoroughly and then a plan will be formulated on an individual and confidential basis.

The CDC has expanded the list of symptoms for COVID-19 to include the following: Fever, Cough, Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Repeated muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, or New loss of taste or smell.

Those who experience any of the above symptoms are urged to access drive-through testing offered by Bryan Health and or CHI Health St. Elizabeth.
